Feathery Lace
Another overall view from blocking day:
The combination of clear pattern charts, interesting details, and lovely yarn made this another fun shawl to knit. I especially liked those double & triple yarnovers that required attention on the return row, breaking up the monotony of the endless purl stitches (otherwise, this shawl had lace designs on the right side and plain purl stitches on the wrong side). And too, the crocheted edging method made finishing very quick and easy, not at all like the laborious knitted-on edging used in the Shaped Triangle Shawl.
For those who have been considering this pattern: I definitely recommend it! Though it's categorized as an advanced intermediate project, I think anyone who has knitted a triangular lace shawl from the neck down can easily knit this with some patience and attention.

Wow! Yuki, your Peacock Feathers Shawl is simply gorgeous! Another beautiful work for all of us to enjoy! ;)

I thought I had left a comment on this post, sorry, I don't know what happened! Anyway, your shawl is absolutely stunning! I love the pattern, and the color is wonderful. It must have been a lot of work to block all the little loops! :) Congratulations on a beautiful FO.

P.S. Which color of Zephyr is that? There are a lot that are close to "dark teal" and I can't decide which I like best. Yours looks perfect!

Truly lovely - I've never finished a lace shawl (started one, it might be somewhere....). You do such beautiful work and I would like to have your talent, perhaps some day.
